I think I hail from there also. <br /><br />I think the biggest issue with teaching kids is the issue society makes these days with not wanting anyone to lose. For instance, there's supposed to be ONE valedictorian of a graduating class, instead of 10, unless there's an honest-to-goodness tie. I hear story after story where the top five in the class are all valedictorians, because they don't want kids to get their feelings hurt. <br /><br />Hurt feelings are just part of life, and the sooner a person learns that, then the sooner they will try harder so they don't have hurt feelings the next time.
