You think that Chevelle got bad mileage, I think that I got SEVEN miles per gallon in that Blazer. Just my humble opinion.<br /><br />My Cutlass (71 I think), & Dodge Dart Swinger(73) died at about 80,000 miles...and died slow, expensive deaths.<br /><br />My 78 Buick LeSabre had about the same fate...maybe 75,000 miles, then shot! My 97 Mercury Sable is WAY into the Hundred Thousands, and runs like a sewing machine...very few repairs.
