I found him to be one of the most genuine, loving, helpful humans I ever came across.

I could never understand why there were others that thought he was the devil in Jesus clothes.

Honestly, I don't know if I was right, or if they were. Oh, never mind...I was right, of course.

Their perspective was colored by their own prejudices, and preferences. And, I guess mine was, too. We are different but alike.
I personally don't read Hemmingway very often and think that suicide is such a waste.
You think therefore you are!
MUDMUDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00210979052443058111noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34744429.post-46094361976339629252009-11-18T10:32:32.835-05:002009-11-18T10:32:32.835-05:00No, you don't have to have fished for a sail f...No, you don't have to have fished for a sail fish to enjoy The Old Man and the Sea, but I do think you have to like Hemingway, or at least his writing style. I don't care for his style and I don't care for much of what I've read about the man. I still have some of his works on my list of books to read because I'd like to figure out what so many do like about him.

I'm not sure how much that has to do with what you wrote here, but there are blogs I read with which I don't always agree. If I keep reading them it's because I appreciate how that unique perspective is framed, I like the person, or both. I don't have to agree with someone to like them either.

Huh, all of that has more to do with another blogger than it does you, but it's interesting how your perspective on perspective drew that out of me;o)Jennihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08483309441288822407noreply@blogger.com
