This is the first year I have seen an indigo bunting. You need to see one when the sun is brightly shining. need to wear sunglasses when you do. MUD
The picture is authentic but may have had an auto-enhance. It was taken on our back porch in a shady area which sometimes makes the background too bright and leaves the bird in the dark. Note the shadow on the porch which is always a good way to check for authenticity. Many people clip a photo but forget to add in a shadow. I won't always vouch for photos on this blog site, but this one is real. Barb
I have one or two a year come to my bird feeders or in the yard. They are beautiful !Twice I have had a painted bunting in my back yard ! I could not believe it . They are very rare here.
It looks like a tropical fish.
ReplyDeleteIs Adobe Photo Editor involved in this picture? The Bunting looks added in with some very good editing. It may be my imagination though.

I cropped this picture but nothing else. He is only about 50% as bright as on a really sunny day.
